Useful info
Sustainable construction and access to water
With steady economic growth and increasing urbanisation, the demand for modern, sustainable infrastructure is on the rise. The Moroccan government is committed to promoting sustainable development, paving the way for environmentally-friendly construction projects. Efficient water management is also a priority, given the challenges associated with the availability of water resources in the region. Companies specialising in sustainable construction technologies and practices and those offering innovative water management solutions are well positioned to seize these opportunities. The convergence of growing urbanisation and ecological imperatives is creating fertile ground for investment and collaboration in Morocco’s construction and infrastructure sector.
Gezondheidszorgsector
The health sector in Morocco consists of a public system comprising health centres and civilian and military hospitals, while the private sector is mainly made up of medical practices and clinics. The challenges include unequal access to health care, shortages of human resources, insufficient funding and gaps in the quality of care. Recommendations for improving the system include comprehensive reform, enhanced medical training, the use of information technology and a national digital health strategy. Two key players in the private sector, Akdital and Oncorad, are developing ambitious projects to extend access to quality care.
The e-health sector in Morocco is growing rapidly, with the widespread adoption of digital technologies to improve access and quality of care. The country has innovative human capital in the digital field, leading to the development of e-health applications, teleconsultations, telemedicine and electronic medical records. Morocco is also a hub for e-health start-ups, offering investment opportunities in areas such as teleconsultations, mobile health applications and electronic medical record management.
In conclusion, Morocco’s healthcare and e-health sectors present enormous opportunities for partnerships and investment, particularly in training, private healthcare infrastructure and digital medical solutions. Although progress has been made, continued efforts are needed to overcome the existing challenges and exploit the full potential of these growing sectors.
