Put 29 November until 1 December in your diaries for Slush Helsinki! No, we’re not talking about the popular ice drink, but one of the world’s hottest events for tech start-ups. Can you keep a cool head and talk to investors to sell your project? Then you’re the ideal candidate to visit the Finnish capital with hub.brussels.
Slush is a non-profit initiative that began in 2008 when some 300 local entrepreneurs came together to pitch their projects to each other student-style to expand their network. Fourteen years later, it has become an event where around 4,800 founders from around the world come to present their initiatives to more than 2,200 investors.
The perfect place to meet potential investors
Innovative, young Belgian companies obviously need to be part of this. So hub.brussels, in association with FIT and AWEX, is offering interested start-ups the opportunity to attend this event and present their project to investors.
Participants pay a single contribution of €100. This gives them a personal demonstration stand for half a day and allows them to benefit from our professional support.
Conditions
- Your start-up is based in Brussels
- You operate in the technology sector
- You are already past the pre-seed stage
- You are ready to pitch your project (you will have the opportunity to take part in the Slush 100 Pitching comptetion)
Participants should also consider additional costs such as:
- transport costs
- hotel costs
- the presence of a staff member
Under certain conditions, participants can make use of the grants awarded by Brussels Economy and Employment for participation in foreign fairs. Please note: you must have submitted your application before the show opens.
