European Relocation Service for Medical Records – Primary Care
Focus on B2C/B2B Market
PatientSupportR helps citizens embrace their own health by offering a relocation service to safely move their medical records from one general practitioner to another across the EU Member States.
Today, many citizens are constantly moving across the EU-27 Member States. Whether for professional or private reasons, citizens face significant challenges in transferring their medical records from one country to another. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the need for citizens and their family members to take care of their digital health records. Our intention is to set up a service where a citizen is given the opportunity (at a certain rate) to carry their medical records in a digital format and provide them to their new GP in the new resident country, where it can be uploaded into the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system.
Our initial focus will be on the Netherlands and Belgium, and vice versa. Approximately 15,000 people (9,000 Dutch moving to Belgium and 6,000 Belgians moving to the Netherlands) have a need for relocation services. We will convert the standard file (e.g., from PMF in Belgium to MEDOVD in the Netherlands) from the native medical record format to the one used in the resident country, and vice versa.
Our Go-To-Market (GTM) is scheduled for January 2nd, 2021, for exchange relocation services between Belgium and the Netherlands. In the second phase, we will extend our relocation services to other EU Member States. France and Germany will be our next GTM countries, followed by the rest of the EU-27 countries.
