GIBBIS is the employers’ federation for healthcare institutions in the public and private non-profit sectors in the Brussels-Capital Region.
Its mission is to:
- represent its members before the authorities and decision-making bodies responsible for healthcare at the Brussels and federal levels and influence decisions
- defend the values of healthcare institutions in the public and private non-profit sectors in the Brussels-Capital Region: quality of care, accountability of the various players in healthcare, autonomy in the management and allocation of resources in healthcare institutions, therapeutic freedom and freedom of choice for patients, equal access to care
- provide advice, analysis, training, and information to its members according to their needs
- and to promote a spirit of partnership and collaboration among its members, as well as the sharing of expertise and knowledge.
