Michel Cremer Foundation

Founded in 2010 as a tribute to a worldwide pioneer of therapeutic endoscopy and head of the gastroenterology department at Erasmus Hospital, the Michel Cremer Foundation aims to selflessly promote cutting-edge research in endoscopy from a perspective of philosophical and political neutrality.

The foundation is chaired by Professor Jacques Devière, head of the gastroenterology department at Erasmus Hospital.

To ensure its development, this approach requires close collaboration across various scientific disciplines, particularly between physicians and engineers, to create and develop innovative and valuable devices for endoscopy. The primary goal is not only to expand the possibilities of this minimally invasive medicine for the well-being of patients but also to share the results of this research to benefit the greatest number.

This internationally renowned laboratory has been practicing therapeutic endoscopy for over 50 years.
