Get your investment case ready before you start approaching investors.
Fundraising is about more than having a great pitch. It’s about understanding how investors assess your case, which risks they see, and what they need to see to say yes.
This program is designed to help you review your fundraising strategy from the investor side of the table.
Who should apply?
☑️ Your company is an effective lifetech.brussels cluster member.
☑️ You are ready to put your investment case under scrutiny, identify gaps and strengthen it.
☑️ You are preparing a fundraising round:
✔ Seed: Applicants should demonstrate early commercial traction and a functional prototype.
✔ Series A: Applicants should demonstrate recurring revenues and a scaling plan.
Move from “we need to raise” to “we’re ready to raise.”
With the support of Dups, the program combines:
1. A full-day workshop on December 9
Dups experts will guide you to:
✔ Understand the investor mindset and how they make investment decisions.
✔ Learn from recent fundraising rounds, both successful and unsuccessful, in HealthTech.
✔ Challenge your own investment case and identify your priorities to be worked out during the individual support.
2. Individual support
After the workshop, each startup will benefit from 5 hours of individual support with Dups and lifetech.brussels teams.
The guidance will focus on the priorities identified during the workshop and may include:
✔ Review of your updated investor materials.
✔ Individual coaching on your investment case.
✔ Investor mapping to identify relevant investor profiles.

📅 Coaching schedule: To be tailored based on availability
👥 Number of participants: Maximum 7 startups
🎯 Selection process
To ensure qualitative support, the program is limited to 7 startups. Applications will be assessed and prioritised based on:
✔ Startup’s maturity level
✔ Timing and clarity of the fundraising plan
✔ Overall fit with the program
